I have spent a year lurking here on the blogs, enjoying everyone else's stories, and just wonder if I have a story to share. My life seems boring and mundane compared to most, but we will see.
Every year on Jan 1st, I do not make resolutions, I just ask....what will this year bring? I love the surprises..last year I received my 1st grand-nephew...from my #2 nephew, of course a boy, only boys in this family..except for me, I am 47 and the only female born to my family in 47 years...how's that for a little interesting? 4 brothers, 2 sons and 11 nephews...
A little about me. Married the boy next door, had 2 sons with him, and after spending half my life with him...I divorced him...after a few years with just me and my boys, I met my current husband...on the internet, I guess that could be a story for later, been remarried for a few years now. He has been a great husband so far, kind and very giving, maybe just a little lazy about the house, but a hard worker. My sons love him, as do I.
My sons are about grown, the oldest a musician, trying to figure out life, but doing well at taking care of himself and making his mother proud, the youngest is a computer and math geek, he is currently a junior in college, living at home and also making me proud.
I have always worked outside the home. I look back now and wonder how I did it all, Thank God for youth, because there is no way I could do now what I did then!
This blog will act as an online journal, for me and my life...the husband, the sons, the job, the brothers, the nephews......and some day in the next decade or so, maybe a grandson, I do not hold on to any hope whatsoever of ever having a granddaughter.....just maybe ....maybe a grand neice....come on #1 one nephew, who's GF is just a little pregnant right now...so I do have hope!
